The band Slightly Stoopid is returning to Maui with a show on May 21st at the Lahaina Civic Center. Describing their music as a fusion of acoustic rock and blues with reggae, hip-hop, and punk, they are one of the hottest bands around and will soon be kicking off a huge summer tour called Legalize It 2010.
Recently, Lahaina.com was able to chat with Slightly Stoopid drummer Ryan Mora, or "Rymo" to those who are keeping up.
Lahaina.com: What do you look forward to most regarding coming to Maui for the Lahaina performance?
Rymo: I’m looking forward to having a great show. It’ll be our first time playing at the civic center. I’m really stoked to eat some plate lunch and go surfing.

On May 30th from 2 pm to 6 pm, the rotary club of Maui will be hosting their second annual "Chefs on the Beach" at Sugarman Beach Estate at Honua Kai Lani in Mākena. The event is a fundraiser to support worthy non-profits who work to improve the well being of our greater Maui Ohana. More »
