We are extremely excited with the new Lahaina.com look and the feedback so far from the community has been quite the same. The new design has been through several minor changes over the last week as we work out tweaks in the features. Here’s a bit of what we’ve been up to…
We have created a Twitter account (Twitter.com/LahainaDotCom) that is growing rapidly. We are speaking with almost every person tweeting about visiting Maui and have even had some chats with our fellow Tweeters around town! We are also posting news, weather, and surf updates on there, so if you are looking for up to the minute Lahaina status, please "follow" us on Twitter!
We are adding content at a blistering pace. In the last two days we have nine new articles up about local beaches, including:

• Honakao’o beach
• Puamana Beach
• Honolua Bay Beach-malama
• Honolua Bay-Marine Life
• Makuleia Bay
• Launiupoko
• Malama ‘Aina beach
• Wahikuli Beach
The next step is to continue speaking to local businesses about partnering up for specific sections of our site. For instance, we are looking for a partner for the Activities section that can provide us with activity information and we can send bookings their way.
