One of Lahaina’s biggest resort areas, Kaanapali is located just a few minutes north of Front Street in Lahaina. There are free shuttles running daily that service guests between Kaanapali and the downtown area of Lahaina.
The Kaanapali resort area was first developed in the 1960’s when the Kaanapali beach resort was constructed along the mile-long beach known as Kaanapali beach. Today, it is home to some of the best resorts Maui and the world have to offer.
Besides the resorts, there are championship golf courses, fabulous restaurants and great shopping—not to mention one of the best snorkeling beaches around. Kaanapali is a great option to stay for any vacationer.
