One of West Maui's most charming community traditions is back in full swing. The Napili Farmers Market has returned to its regular Sunday schedule, running every week from 8am to noon at the Napili Park pavilion.
The market features over 30 local vendors offering everything from tropical fruits and Upcountry vegetables to fresh-baked banana bread, handmade jewelry, and locally roasted Maui coffee. Live ukulele music sets the mood, and there's always a food truck or two serving breakfast plates and fresh-pressed sugarcane juice.
For visitors staying in the Napili, Kapalua, or Kahana area, this is one of the best ways to experience local Maui culture on a lazy Sunday morning. Arrive early for the best selection — the Maui Gold pineapples and fresh lilikoi (passion fruit) tend to sell out by 10am. Bring your own reusable bag and cash, though some vendors do accept cards.
The market is also a great place to pick up unique souvenirs. Several local artisans sell hand-poured candles with Hawaiian scents, koa wood jewelry, and hand-dyed textiles. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming — regulars often grab coffee and spend the morning chatting with vendors and neighbors.
